Dr. Levy is the founding director of Advanced Counselor Training & Supervision, LLC.
Dr. Levy holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Practice as well as Masters and Specialist degrees in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University (GSU). She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (#49513), a Licensed Professional Counselor in GA (#003609), a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS) in GA (#297), and an ≥…Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS #01754). Before her retirement in December 2014, for 10 years, Dr. Levy was a full-time faculty member in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) at GSU. During her tenure in CPS she served as the Clinical Skills Coordinator, the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program Coordinator, and the Clinical Director for the CMHC program.
Dr. Levy utilizes her 10 years as a practicing clinician, at the Atlanta Relationship Center together with her tenure in academia, in the development and implementation of the workshops presented by Advanced Counselor Supervision & Training. These workshops include various clinical topics, but primarily focus on Supervision as a distinct area of expertise in Mental Health Counseling.
